So far, 18 states have voted where the percent of non-white voters is above the US average. Sanders has won in 3: two small caucus states (Alaska & Hawaii) and one primary, Oklahoma.
Primary Results
Take away caucus states, which are least likely to represent the overall electorate, and this is what Sanders’ tally looks like – 9 wins out of 31 primaries, only 2 in states with more than 6 million people (Hillary has won 13 large states). This excludes US territories such as Puerto Rico (which has more people than 20 states)

States Obama won in ’08 are to the right of the 50% line.
Overall, Hillary has won states with 319 electoral votes and Bernie has won states with 133 electoral votes.
Of the 281 electoral votes in Obama ’08 states that have voted so far in ’16, Hillary has won states with 187 electoral votes and Bernie has won states with 94 electoral votes.
